If you have stumbled upon this basic web site, you are very welcome. It has mostly
been run as a hobby site. Up until 2007 it had occasionally served as a useful overflow
for the Southwold Jazz Festival web site, whenever there was a temporary need for
extra web space by that site. Sadly, the original SJF project, together with it’s
web site, ceased all operations during October 2010, following several years trying
to find a suitable new venue, but there is now some very encouraging good news -
I had decided to keep the Angled View web name and hosting active, albeit running quietly and with not too much ‘fanfare’. In order to achieve such objective it was necessary to find something of not too much import which could be published without a lot of effort and little need for continual updates. A few happy pictures seemed to be the ideal solution, with the bonus of being of a cheerful nature. While you are here, please have a look at the smiley photos, intended to compensate for the other misery one often encounters in these troubled times. I often have more waiting to be published, when enough of these have been assembled, but if anybody out there has the odd ‘smile’ or amusing photo they would like published, please see the note on the first ‘Smiles’ page.
It is not my intention to cause offence with any of the material published, and to that extent I do not set out to be controversial. But please do let me know if you spot anything that, in your opinion, needs attention. There is a contact email address visible on all pages.
Some minor alterations applied and page updated, 12 May 2012
