The Sole Bay Jazz Band performs weekly at The Flixton Buck, every Thursday evening. The ‘winding down’ of the Southwold Jazz Festival web site is now presenting a slight problem, as that web site was where advance notice of the band line-up could be found. For a limited period, space on this web site will be made available to publicise the Thursday evening sessions at Flixton Buck, pending alternative arrangements.

 

Here is the planned line-up for Thursday 2nd September 2010

Tim Densham (reeds) - Derek Cubitt (reeds) - Simon Nelson (cor/tpt/voc)

 

And maybe the odd impromptu guest!

 

In the absence of any notified band line-up at any time, there is a very good ‘Blog’ page where there is often entertaining and light-hearted chatter which will speak volumes about the great Flixton Buck Jazz sessions.  Why not have a look anyway -give it a try, click the first link below.

 

Other than an occasional insert, I do not currently have any plans for this site to take over large scale coverage of events, such as previously seen on the SJF Web Site.
